Dr. Huan Ma

Dr. Huan Ma

Dr. Huan Ma comes from a long family line of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors.  He completed his Ph.D in acupuncture and internal medicine at Tianjin University of TCM. Dr. Ma served as the supervising physician at the Acupuncture and Chinese Affiliated Outpatient Clinic of Tianjin University in China and was a contributing author to Integration of TCM and Western Medicine Emergency and Practical Internal Medicine. He is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Dr. Ma is dedicated to teaching and developing acupuncture in America and served as Associate Dean of Acupuncture Clinical Services and full-time professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Ma is a renowned acupuncturist focusing on pain management and the treatment of the most difficult and complex of medical cases.
Tao Gong

Tao Gong completed her bachelor’s and Master’s of acupuncture at Tianjin University of TCM. She was a staff physician at the Tianjin Internal Medicine Clinic and is currently serving as a clinical supervisor and assistant professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Gong has extensive clinical experience in treating gynecological issues and providing cosmetic acupuncture treatments. She is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Ben Jacobson

Ben Jacobson

Ben Jacobson is NCCAOM board certified and licensed acupuncturist in the state of Minnesota as well as a Chinese medical massage (tui na) practitioner with over a decade of Traditional Chinese Medicine experience. Ben has worked with a variety of patients, including the MN Gophers and Vikings Football teams, Twin Cities Marathon Elite Runners, St. Paul Police, constituents of Park House, Salvation Army, and the Aliveness Project. He has also worked with in-patient populations at Courage Center and Woodwinds Hospital. Ben focuses primarily on helping people manage and recover from pain, musculoskeletal injury, headaches and stress. Ben earned his Master’s in acupuncture in 2009 from Northwestern Health Sciences University, Bloomington, MN, at which time he also completed a study abroad program at Tianjin TCM University in China. His previous schooling includes a BA in music from Vassar College, 1998, and a massage degree from CenterPoint School for Massage and Shiatsu, 2004.
Paige Powers

Paige Powers is an NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist, licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She graduated valedictorian from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Master’s degree in acupuncture. Her internships included Bloomington Natural Care Clinic, Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Woodwinds Hospital, Woodwinds Natural Care Clinic, Penny George Institute for Health and Healing at Abbott Northwestern Hospital including emergency room and intensive care units, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, UMMC Children’s Hospital, Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic, Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, and the Human Performance Center for professional athletes. Paige also received a BFA in dance and BS in anthropology from Florida State University in 2001. She is AFFA certified in personal training and is an instructor in Pilates, GYROKINESIS®, and GYROTONIC®. She has studied Kinesiology, Alexander Technique, Franklin Method Feldenkrais, Laban Movement Analysis, Ortho-Bionomy®, and Neurokinetic Therapy®. Paige is certified in Thai Massage and has worked with the Minnesota Lynx athletes and United States Olympians.
Rebecca Foresman

Becca Foresman graduated valedictorian, summa cum laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, MN with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Therapeutic Massage. While at NWHSU she interned at NWHSU DeRusha Clinic, NWHSU Human Performance Center, and Integrative Clinic of Minnesota. She has experience treating perinatal clients, headaches, sciatica, shin splints, frozen shoulder, low back pain, and fibromyalgia, to name a few. She has a passion for rehabilitative massage and has worked with recovering athletes from the Minnesota Vixen, Minnesota Freeze, Minnesota Alliance Jiu Jitsu, and NFL alumni. Becca is excited to integrate therapeutic massage into the practice at Acupuncture Health Center and cannot wait to be part of your personal healing journey. 

Our welcoming and friendly staff members include Kathy Allen (Office Manager), Rosario Gutierrez,  Christein Neighly and Natalie Richter who work in both the Edina and Minneapolis offices to create a peaceful and relaxing space for your healing experience. They will schedule your appointments, verify your insurance, assist in financial options and answer any of your questions in a safe and caring environment.
